About Me… I’m Emma Herbert – a professional, virtual executive assistant. I have over 20 years experience in operations, project management, business support, media and marketing across Publishing, Coaching, Professional Services, Non-profits, Consulting, TV and Digital. I am a motivated, hard-working self-starter who, in the words of a former director, ‘really makes things happen’.
Having worked at start-ups (in the role of employee number 1) and large corporations (WPP/BBC/IPG) supporting Managing Directors and CEOs, I have a wealth of skill in running day to day operations. I love a challenge and am an excellent multi-tasker with fantastic organisational, administrative and communication skills.
I offer an Executive VA service providing an outsourced executive administrative option to suit your requirements – this complements the activities of operations, supply chain management, team training and management, issue handling, event planning, project management, property management, business development, research, creative production, marketing and day to day business support including data entry, issuing of contracts, scheduling, enquiry handling, travel planning , bookkeeping, process and systems definition and implementation (including automation). I can also offer concierge services and personal and private PA tasks. I can complete your ‘to do’ or ‘prefer not to do’ list.
A bit more background on my business history…
I started my career as a TV researcher before moving into digital marketing. I have worked in TV production, digital media, book publishing, search engine marketing, consulting and coaching, and in the capacity of production, research, account management, marketing, operations, office management and as a board level Executive Assistant. In 2009 I moved into executive virtual assistance.
I believe that being a consummate professional is key, as a management level PA since 2001, I understand all that this role requires and am adaptable and flexible to my client’s needs. I believe a solution can be found to any problem, and I guarantee the work that I deliver. I am considered trustworthy, conscientious and reliable by all my clients who are all willing to recommend me, and I am a Fellow of The Institute of Professional Administrators/Institute of Administrative Management, as well as being fully insured.
